What to Expect During Your Fitting
Every session follows the same four-stage process, whether you're being fit for a single wedge or a full bag. Here's exactly what happens from the moment you walk in.
Goals & Equipment Interview
We start with a conversation, not a swing. What clubs are you currently playing? What misses are costing you strokes? Are you chasing distance, accuracy, consistency, or all three? We also look at your current specs — length, lie, shaft — to understand your starting point.
Launch Monitor Hitting Session
Using a Doppler-radar launch monitor, we capture ball speed, clubhead speed, launch angle, spin rate, spin axis, attack angle, and smash factor on every swing. You'll hit your current clubs first to establish a baseline, then demo heads and shafts across the categories relevant to your fitting.
Specification Recommendation
We walk through the data together. Rather than simply telling you what to buy, we show you the numbers behind each recommendation — why a particular shaft tightened your dispersion, or why a half-degree of loft change added carry distance.
Build & Verification
If you decide to order, clubs are assembled in-house to your exact specs — length, lie, loft, grip, and swing weight — then checked on a frequency machine to confirm shaft consistency across the set before you pick them up.
How Long Does a Fitting Take?
Single Club
45–60 minutes for driver, fairway wood, hybrid, wedge, or putter fittings.
Iron Set
60–90 minutes to properly check lie angle, gapping, and shaft across a full set.
Full Bag Assessment
2–3 hours, prioritizing the clubs that will most improve your scoring based on your current dispersion and gapping data.
Your Written Fitting Report
Every client receives a written report by email within 24 hours, summarizing your baseline numbers, the specs we recommend, and the reasoning behind each decision. There's no obligation to buy on the spot — many clients take the report home, review it, and order later. Fitting fees are always credited toward any club purchase built in our shop.
